PWE is based in Nelson, and cover transport and mechanical engineering consultancy for the top of the South Island. We visit Blenheim regularly every Wednesday, and the West Coast in the last week of every month (Thu-Fri).

We are a small business, comprising of Peter Wastney (B.E. Mech, 1^st Class Honours) – Managing Director and Chartered Professional Mechanical Engineer, and Virginia van Zijll de Jong (BSc) – Office Manager and Design Engineer.

We provide transport engineering certification for heavy (COF) vehicles only.  Please note that we have stopped providing services for LVV (WOF) vehicles.  We also provide amusement device certification, and general mechanical engineering consultancy.

In addition, we provide 3D-modelling services using Solidworks, and FEA analysis using COSMOS™. As these services are provided remotely, for these we are pleased to offer nationwide service.
